  • Rinse food well before cooking it β€” not with soap, but with clean or salted water.
  • Wash plates, pots, and spoons with soap and rinse with clean water before using them.

  • Light pap (akamu) with a pinch of salt and sugar
  • Boiled sweet or Irish potato β€” make it soft and do not fry it
  • Okro soup with no pepper or meat
  • Ripe banana
  • Soft, boiled unripe plantain
  • Ugu or waterleaf soup with only a small amount of salt and red oil β€” no Maggi, crayfish, or pepper
  • Soft spinach

  • For a child that has it, give at least 3 cups of clean water or water with a small amount of salt and sugar mixed inside during the day β€” let them drink it slowly.
  • An adult can take 5 to 6 cups of water or more a day, especially if they are stooling β€” it is better to sip it slowly than to rush it.

comment

  • Do not eat pepper soup, fried food, foods with too much oil, meat, beans, suya, zobo, or too much milk.
  • Do not take drinks that have too much sugar like Fanta or Coke.
  • Always wash your hands before eating β€” especially if you work with cement or make people's hair.
  • You might say, 'It is not that serious if I do not wash my hands' β€” but it is good health that makes you enjoy good food, right?
  • It may feel stressful to practice all these, but just start small β€” it will soon feel normal with time.
